Jacketed Pressure Vessels
Designed & Manufactured in Colorado
At Gill Iron Works, we craft custom jacketed pressure vessels. Using thermal oil, glycol, and water as heat transfer mediums, these systems can be combined with a jacketed pressure vessel for exceptional fluid and temperature management solutions.
Jacketed pressure vessels are engineered to meet your particular processing needs. A standard jacketed vessel introduces a secondary enclosure over a structural shell. The jacket creates a cavity to be utilized for temperature management by filling the jacket space with circulating water or fluid.
Our jacketed pressure vessel systems create excellent heat transfer by introducing agitation in the jacketed vessels, allowing for more consistent temperature or concentration levels.
- Conventional Vessel Jackets
Conventional Jackets are best used on small volume vessels (under 300 gallons) and high-pressure applications where internal pressure is double the jacket pressure. - Dimple Vessel Jackets
Dimple jackets allow for light-gauge metal construction, providing considerable cost savings over conventional, higher-gauge material options. - Half Pipe Coil Vessel Jackets
Half Pipe Coil Jackets provide optimal strength while utilizing light-gauge metal for fabrication that saves on material expenses.
